Harumph. I worked a 12 hour day yesterday and today probably wont be all that much better. They are really putting the pressure on my company to get shit done. Thus the pressure falls to me and unfortunately for me, I am not yet qualified to be a full employee. I cannot do the work necessary for my job. Thats what I am supposed to be training for and that is why Im not getting paid my full salary for 3 months. The contractor who is helping me out has told me his saying. He says, "There is a reason salary and screwed are next to each other in the dictionary." As I dont have a dictionary, I cant prove this to be physically false, but it is true in the fact that by being paid salary, you really get screwed in my line of work. He told me that if I really wanted to make the big money, to quit my job after two years and do contracting work. It pays so much better. I wouldnt know, ya know? But in any case, I get paid no extra for working 12 hours today or if I worked 8 hours. Lucky for me, my days these days tend to be quit full and thus the time flys by. I fear the day I run out of shit to do. |

Im sorry, no comic today, Ill give you one tomorrow, I promise. I worked for 34 of the last 72 hours and spend 8 hours traveling to get back home. I need my rest. Like I said, tomorrow, I promise. |
