Sha'mad Conde - 2005-07-19 00:41:06 A Mad 'Mad: I didn't celebrate my birthday this year on the anniversary of the day that I was born. I had to work. Other people were busy or forgot completely (mostly forgot.) So instead, plans were made for next Thursday to celebrate, when everyone was available. We were going to travel to Boise to party there, since there isn't much to do in the town that I live in. Plans were made, expectations set. ...only to have the entire thing get cancelled because someone "didn't feel like it." That makes me grumpy. I guess my birthday wasn't very high of a priority. I had high hopes for a fun time this Thursday, too. I had forgotten that hope is just disappointment that hasn't happened yet. -'Mad Shadowkiller - 2005-07-19 08:38:06 At work: Yeah, I'm at work now so I am doing as I said I would :). That really sucks 'Mad. Too bad I don't live near you or I'd have said screw that stuff, we're going anyway. It's your flamin' birthday and we're going to enjoy it even if it is only you and me. I still haven't quite figured out what I'm gonna do for you. Is there anything in the world that I could do for you to make your birthday time even the slightest bit better? We'll see, yes we will. And I think I saw something on the Forums mentioning that it was SW's birthday yesterday or today or something so Happy Birthday to her as well. Another year older, another year wiser. Perhaps I'll even figure out something for her. I am creative at some points, but at others I need some serious help. I worked hard on this comic trying to partially recreated the scene. When it was 11pm and I had only finished the 2nd panel, I knew I needed to speed things up. I stole that Zelda sprite I used for Egwene from a website that hosts sprite sheets. Its a very good site and I will continue to return there whenever I need something, but for now I think it looks like a good Egwene except for being a different style from the other sprites. The horses I stole from Harvest Moon and some of them I did some stuff to, others I just recolored. As you can tell, they are 16 bit while the Megaman type sprites are 32 bit, thus the pixels are twice the size. Don't forget the Rant Contest. You only have one more week to get entries in. I will say now that I only have 3 entries and I would really love to have more. Go back to Here to see the rules. 25th is the final day for entries and during that week I will post the top placers.
